Ask and it gets done. You do not need to justify it.
The default posture is what I call restricted: your entry keeps a name, a short description, and a link to your own site, and carries no rating, no artifacts, and no derived analysis. That leaves the record honest — the company exists and here is where to find it — without the catalog holding or publishing anything about your API surface.
Full removal is also available if that is what you want.
Either way, the delisting goes into a permanent do-not-list registry that every pipeline consults, so an automated harvest cannot quietly re-add you six months later. That registry is the part that actually matters; a one-time deletion without it is not a removal, it is a delay.
Existing artifacts, index membership, ratings and generated pages get stripped as part of the same process rather than left behind in a rollup somewhere.
